Low Intensity Support Services (LISS)
Maryland Community Connection has been awarded the Low Intensity Support Services (LISS) Grant for the Southern Region effective December 1, 2009.
What is Low Intensity Support Service? Low Intensity Support Service, known as LISS, is a statewide program for individuals eligible for Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) services. Preventative in nature LISS works to assist individuals with developmental disabilities improve their quality of life, remain in their own homes, increase or maintain independence and participate in their communities.| County Resources |

- be diagnosed with a developmental disability verified by an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or a medical statement of developmental disability
- be a resident of Maryland as verified by a valid drivers license, Maryland identification card or bill noting address
- have a social security card
- not currently receiving funding for full residential services
- have applied for medical assistance
