Low Intensity Support Services (LISS)
Maryland Community Connection is proud to announce we have been awarded the on-going Low Intensity Support Services Grant for DDA. Families in need of low intensity support services may access them directly through LISS.
“Low level supports”, are those supports identified by the family that may be provided for less than $3000.00 for children and adults ; however, these supports are limited by the extent to which resources are available. This helps families to receive support quickly without going through the full eligibility process. Families need toverify developmental disability as well as proof of Maryland residency. Services that may be covered by LISS include respite, purchase of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, camp, and uninsured medical expenses.
