HSC Member Named 2010 Fellow of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation
“Being selected to participate in the 2010 Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Fellows Program is an honor. I am excited for this great opportunity to collaborate and participate in partnerships with other Executive Directors in Maryland.”
These are the words of (Ms.) Andre’ Burno Coates, Executive Director of Maryland Community Connection and proud HSC member and participant in the Nonprofit Incubator Program. Coates is one of 16 fellows named to this unique program for nonprofit development and agency management.
The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Fellows Program provides practical, hands-on interactive sessions and rich networking opportunities to select executive directors of community-based non-profit agencies serving disadvantaged individuals. These leaders from agencies across Maryland will embark on a year-long professional development program designed to enhance leadership skills and promote collaboration among the region’s nonprofits.
Said Coates, “This opportunity will help me expand the future growth of Maryland Community Connection and the community services we provide to individuals with developmental disabilities.”
