Adults receiving DDA services are funded via the Community Pathways waiver.
This is the DDA application to the federal government. The federal government issued the new rules and then each state can submit an application which outlines their services and how they meet the federal rules. DDA adult services are funded with federal and state funds.
Individuals are encouraged to take the time to read through the application. Essentially, these are the rules governing the services that adults will receive/continue to receive.
Please provide a response and comments to DDA. Are their services your son or daughter wants or wants to change? This is anopportunity to make your voice heard.
If no comments are provided then the DDA application goes forward as is. Please take the time to review the document and provide your comments to DDA.

|The goals for the Community Pathways Waiver include:
· Innovative service options aimed at providing supports that build on the DDA’s existing Community of Practice related to Employment and Supporting Families;
· Participant and family self-direction opportunities;
· New Supported Living and Housing Support Services to increase independent living opportunities; and
· Transitioning to new Employment Services and provider rates.
